[linux_var] problema (forse) compatibilta' eee ubuntu 8.04 router Sitecom wl-173

Ciao a tutti, e' la prima volta che scrivo sebbene segua la mailing list da un po'... E' perche' ho un problema che davvero non riesco a risolvere, pur lavorandoci da giorni googlando a piu' non posso :-) In sintesi: ho una rete wireless casalinga a cui non posso accedere dall'eee701 con su la distro in oggetto, perche' non viene vista. Se al router attacco la fonera che ho, quella rete la vedo e mi ci collego e ci navigo; dal palmare e da un altro pc windows vedo la rete wifi casalinga (che chiameremo judex per comodita', ed anche perche'si chiama cosi' :-). Da un altro palmare (Nokia N770) con linux anche li' non vedo la rete judex, mentre vedo la Fonera. Ora, il problema e' che se non vedo judex non sono in rete col pc windows a cui e' attaccata la stampante, dischi fissi grossi, eccetera... :-( Con la vecchia distribuzione, xandros, la rete judex era vista perfettamente, ma ho dovuto piallarla per futili motivi (non partiva piu' dopo aver tentato di installare k3b senza spazio sufficiente...).

Scusate la lunghezza del post... oggi stavo comprando un altro router o una chiavetta wifi, ma ho pensato di tentare un approccio piu' sportivo.
