la velocità in lettura risponde ad una USB2, perché la USB1 non ci arriva :)

da qui si vede in effetti che hai USB2.

Il problema quindi è in scrittura?

prova a verificar come sia montata la periferica, con un mount.
Non ho KDE, ma ho trovato questa info per togliere il sync del device

If so, open it. If not, try opening media:/ in konqueror.

Selct the device then -> Properties -> Mounting(tag) and uncheck the
