[linux_var] La conferenza di OpenOffice.org 2009 sara' a Orvieto

Members of the OpenOffice.org Community have selected Orvieto, Italy as
the venue for their Annual Conference (OOoCon), to be held between
November 3rd and November 5th 2009 (provisional dates).

Following a community consultation process, Orvieto, Italy emerged as a
clear favourite with 48% of the votes. Budapest, Hungary was second with
29%. The remaining five bids all scored less than 10% each.

As a result:

* Orvieto will host OOoCon in 2009
* Budapest will host OOoCon in 2010
