Per farsì che il server rinnovi l'IP, ci deve essere una richiesta lato
client. Puoi diminuire il "lease time" sul server, di modo che i client
inoltrino di sovente le richieste dhcp, ma cmq avrai un tempo di down
quando uno dei due server crolla.
Situzione identica utilizzando un dhcp relay.
Se i server sono proprio identici, puoi cambiare ip al server di
backup... tabelle arp permettendo.
tipo:
ifconfig eth0:0 indirizzo_del_main
quando main va giù
Ma come ha detto Fox una situazione di bilanciamento sarebbe meglio.
